Your first visit

What to Expect

Come as you are

Jeans or Sunday best, both fit right in. Wear what you’re comfortable in.

Finding your way

For worship, use the front doors facing Dale Street, marked “Sanctuary Entrance.” For coffee and classes, come in through the glass doors in the breezeway between the buildings.

Kids are welcome

There’s a kids’ class at 9:00, and children are always welcome in worship, with a children’s time just for them.

Worship lasts about an hour

Expect music, prayer, Scripture, and a message you can take into your week.

Everyone’s welcome at the table

When we share Communion, it’s open to everyone, not just members. What is a United Methodist church?

No pressure

You won’t be singled out. Sit anywhere, join in as much or as little as you like.

Our story

Two churches, one path

Pathways began in 2006, when two Northside congregations chose to become one: Dale Street Methodist, founded in 1888 on this same corner, and St. Luke Methodist, founded in 1909. Together they carry more than a century of neighbors worshiping, learning, and serving side by side.
